How It Works

A cave does not advertise. It waits where the hill has made a practical omission, collecting shade, echoes, and anyone temporarily finished with weather.

  1. Arrive

Stand near the opening until outside feels excessive.

  2. Enter

Move one body length beyond the weather.

  3. Pause

Let the echo complete its paperwork.

  4. Settle

Choose a rock already shaped like a chair.

  5. Remain

Leave only when the sky becomes reasonable.

House Features

Thick walls keep conversation local. The roof is load-bearing by habit. A sandy patch near the mouth handles arrivals, departures, and the occasional pebble that has lost direction.

  • Quiet Interior

Every sound returns once, then minds its business.

  • Permanent Roof

No maintenance schedule has survived the first boulder.

  • Open Plan

The entrance is also the window and emergency policy.

Stay until outside improves.
